Warhammer 40,000 Mechanicus

Warhammer 40 000: Mechanicus is a step-by-step role-playing action gameplay that resembles the XCOM series, only in the Vahi universe. Under our control will be the most technologically advanced fraction of the Imperium, namely the Adeptus Mechanicus. This side of the conflict is remarkable in that its representatives abandoned weak flesh in favor of the immortality and power of the machines.

Players will lead an expedition to the newly discovered planet Silva Tenebris, where they will take on the role of the commander of a legion named Faustin. The latter is the title of Magos Dominus. Everything would be fine if the hordes of Necrons were not found on the surface of the planet. It is these creatures and to confront the player.

From the point of view of combat mechanics, Warhammer 40,000 Mechanicus differs not only from IxCom, but also from other representatives of the genre. The fact is that in this game there is no concept of action points, and in 1 move a character selected by a player can travel a certain distance, strike an opponent or perform one of several special actions, for example, send a serv-skull for reconnaissance. Before the start of the battle itself, the priests can sing one of the three songs, each of which gives the detachment certain bonuses: an increase in damage, an increase in the firing range, or the inability to miss the enemy.
