The game was developed by Stage Clear Studios and Cyber ​​Group Studios and released by Outright Games. The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom take us on a journey into the post-apocalyptic world created for the books and series The Last Children on Earth. The heroes of the game are the well-known Jack, Quint, June and Dirk. The main characters’ task is to find the Staff of Destiny – a powerful artifact that will allow them to defeat Malondra, the Queen of Mucous Monsters, who is trying to summon Rezzoh the Ancient, the Destroyer of the worlds.

In The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, we watch the action from top to bottom. The heroes explore the city of Wakefield on foot and in a vehicle known as Big Mama. The tasks they perform advance the story, which is broken by hordes of zombies and taboos of other monsters. Battles are dynamic, and enemies are eliminated with the skills of heroes and an extensive arsenal of both melee weapons (including everyday items) and long-range weapons.
