Sketch 70.2 is one of the best professional vector editors for Mac OS! Powerful, simple, fast, flexible interface design editor. The program has all the necessary tools for any, even the most demanding designer.
More about the program
Slices, text styles, rulers, guides, and grids are just a few of them. The program can read from (.sketch, .drawit, .svg), import (.pdf, .eps, .jpg, .tif, .png, .gif, etc.), and export in the following types of formats (.pdf , .svg, .eps, .jpg, .tif, .png) The Program now manages plugin updates and incompatible plugins. Also improved the color picker pop-up menu, presentation mode and more.
Improved color picker
When you’re working on a document with an extensive style guide behind it, chances are you have a set of color presets. In Sketch 70.2, we’ve made some updates to the color popup menu for people like you.
In particular, the popup menu now scrolls if you have a lot of color presets saved. In other words, it won’t disappear at the bottom of the screen. Better yet, if you’re one of those people with a lot of color presets, then chances are you won’t need the color picker too often, so we’ve made it foldable.
Improved snapping in vector work
Drawing perfect and accurate shapes can be slow when you need to place a point in an arbitrary position and then carefully align it with the existing points. Sketch 70.2 will now have Quick Guides when you hover over the shape’s x or y coordinates to help you place the next vector point. This is another change that we hope will make your life easier and our vector tools will be more functional.
More consistent menus
In Sketch 70.2, we’ve moved a few menu items for more consistency and to make way for new items coming soon. We thought we’d note this just in case you have any custom keyboard shortcuts set up. Don’t worry, your favorite menu item is still around, it just has a new home (or perhaps a new name) now.
Over 50 changes, improvements and bug fixes
Once again, we made several small improvements to the program based on your feedback, and also fixed a number of significant bugs. The most important ones are:
– In the settings, you can choose how many pixels to move the layers using the arrow keys or holding down Shift + arrow keys
– Presentation mode has been changed to just hide the UI rather than open full screen mode (it now also works with tabbed windows)
– We added the ability to choose between highlighting a point or closing a curve when clicking on the first point in a vector shape
– Constraints for layer resizing now have their own keyboard shortcuts (you will find them in the Layer ›Constraints menu)
