Priest Simulator

Priest Simulator is the second project of Delirma studio, after using almost identical themes found in Priest (to avoid mistakes, the developers decided to change the name of the first game to Faither). Published by Ultimate Games, a company closely affiliated with PlayWay that publishes other “weird simulations”.

More about the game

Priest Simulator’s rudimentary storyline focuses on the priest in charge of the provincial parish. The tasks assigned to the player guide them through the daily affairs of “the most privileged person in the entire village.” Our character is not that holy – he often has behaviors that are inappropriate for a person of his status. As if that weren’t enough, the cleric has supernatural powers that he can use to both fight Satan and irritate believers.

The Priest Simulator, played in first-person perspective, can be seen as one of the absurd simulators, that is, parody games that try to simulate more and more avant-garde professions and creatures (like the Goat Simulator). Priest Simulator gives us a pretty small open world with a few key locations. The overall composition of the game is a bit like Postal 2.

Game features

The mechanics of the game are based on various actions prepared for the priest. He can celebrate masses for locals (often after drinking), give communion (after they have been paid enough), visit houses (take anything that is not kept with nails), collect donations for church modernization, perform exorcisms, destroy sects, fight with Satan or other priests with the help of super powers, buy better parts for the car or buy more weapons “for fighting demons” (for example, a flamethrower).
