In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight is a third person adventure game (TPP) in which the player’s decisions have a direct impact on the story. This is the first game created by the independent studio FireYside, which worked closely with the Polish. The game takes place in the picturesque Cascade Ridge, or rather in the fictional town of Silvercreek, located on a lake and surrounded by dense forest. Residents are faced not only with a dire economic situation, but also with a series of mysterious disappearances that cannot be solved.

More about the game

The heroine of In Plain Sight is 17-year-old Mackenzie Carter, desperate to find out what happened to her mother. The plot is set in a local caravan park, where the main character has spent her entire life. The girl follows in the footsteps of her mother, along the way solving riddles and establishing contact with the inhabitants who hide secrets that she did not suspect before. Her friend April Palmer, who lives on the other side of the lake, is helping with the investigation.

Gameplay

The girl accompanies the heroine, calling from time to time and encouraging further actions. The relationship only thickens the already dense atmosphere of the game, forcing them, over time, to discuss a mystery that they have been trying hard to ignore for a long time.
The main task of the player is to help the heroine solve the riddle of her mother. To do this, the player walks through the locations available in the game, collecting circumstantial evidence, solving puzzles and interacting with people he meets along the way.

Game features

During his investigation, he also contacts April, who can support him with good advice. Since In Plain Sight is a game in which the decisions made by the player affect the further course of the game, he must remember to make careful choices. This is a photorealistic 3D game in a nice black and white color scheme.
