Figment 2: Creed Valley
This is the second part of a series of action movies launched in 2017. The game was developed by the creators of the original, the independent team Bedtime Digital Games, whose portfolio includes related to the genre of games Back to Bed. The action Figment 2: Creed Valley takes place after the events presented in the previous game in the series. During the game, we play a creature named Dusty, known from the original, accompanied by an optimistic friend – Piper.
More about the game
Although the main characters have managed to restore peace in the Mind (a world that is a projection of the subconscious of a forty-year-old man, where his fears and weaknesses take the form of monsters), they are still busy. This time the heroes have to go to the Valley of Faith, where beliefs and ideals are formed. This is the residence of the Jester, who destroyed the Compass Morality and unleashed a civil war that threatened the whole Mind.
Gameplay
Action Figment 2: Creed Valley is shown in isometry. Very original game locations, filled with sounds, music and many objects resembling various instruments, are waiting to be visited. Going through them, we avoid traps and obstacles and solve creative puzzles. In addition, we encounter enemies (including new ones), with which Dusty fights with a wooden sword. Battles are dynamic, and success is achieved by evading enemy attacks and finding the weaknesses of our enemies. In the game world, we can also find memories that allow us to better understand the problems of the mind.
Game features
It should be remembered that the appearance of the Mind depends on its current state (it can be “open” or “closed”); we influence him, among other things, through discussions with the creatures living in the valley.
As in the first part of the series, the game features colorful graphics in a characteristic surreal style. The unique atmosphere of the game is emphasized by a rich and memorable soundtrack.
