The name does not very clearly hint that we have a game related to the Portal series. Conversion will tell about the events that took place between the first and second parts of the famous and very original puzzle. This is not an addon or mod, this is a completely separate project that deserves a lot of attention. It will allow you to walk along the previously unexplored corridors of the same Aperture Science complex, meet new characters, and solve the most difficult riddles. In general, now you don’t have to worry about what happened after the destruction of the GLaDOS computer.

More about the game

The game tries to answer most of the questions left after Portal and Portal 2. You will visit completely new locations of the Aperture Science complex, plunge into an exciting and unpredictable story, meet new characters and experience new testing elements.

Gameplay

Conversion introduces both familiar characters like GLaDOS and Wheatley (the rest you have to find yourself) as well as new characters with unique stories and idiosyncrasies. In addition, the game will introduce you to a new part of the Aperture Science complex known as F-STOP. It will bring a completely new gameplay that was not in either Portal or Portal 2.

Game features

Here you are the one who determines the plot. The developers came up with a system that allows you to make the plot non-linear, and the gameplay – diverse. The game does not offer “press-button-to-choose-an-ending”. You will hardly notice the plot forks, and the autosave feature will make it impossible to cheat with the system and provide a transparent and safe gameplay.
